VentureWorkspace donated a dozen of their training desks to Sunshine School based at the Wolverivier settlement just off the N7 close to Melkbosstrand this past Monday, the 4th of September 2017.

With the help of Charl Atkinson from JustGo.Movers (a bespoke Cape Town furniture removals and deliveries company), the desks were transported from the Venture Workspace offices in Claremont on Monday and was received by Nikki Pretorius, the founder of the School.

“It was a very humbling experience for me, the type that really puts things into perspective and makes you re-think your own life / circumstances and really appreciate what you have. A lot of people have helped me in one form or another throughout my life, so I always try and help / assist others when I can.”

Venture Workspace situated in Claremont and rapidly expanding their footprint in the Southern Suburbs, offers flexible, fully equipped, serviced office space and business support services to start-ups, entrepreneurs and established companies.

“The Sunshine School serves as a “community centre” and is used as a meeting place for community meetings, or meetings with external parties such as social workers, the local government, etc. It has become a symbol of hope and possibilities, tying in with our philosophy at Venture Workspace of community building and providing opportunities and support to all.”
